The National Museum of Archeology of Aquileia is situated in the historical center of the city, being hosted by Villa Cassis, which was built between 1812 and 1825. The Villa hosting the National Museum of Archeology counts 12 large rooms where several collections are exhibited, old statues collections, bezel and amber stones (Aquileia having been the main processing and commercial distribution center of such stones).
